Tài liệu này chưa có ở ngôn ngữ đã chọn.

These Terms set out the conditions for using STEPIN LITE (the "Service"), a dance game app provided by Sidewalk Entertainment ("we", "us" or the "Company"). STEPIN LITE is designed so that anyone, including children under 14, can enjoy K-pop dance games safely without social features.

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Company and members who use the Service ("Users"), and other necessary matters.

Article 2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the application the Company provides under the name STEPIN LITE and its related services.
  • "User" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and signed up for and uses the Service.
  • "Legal Guardian" means a parent or other person authorized by law to act on behalf of a minor User.
  • "Virtual Goods" means digital items used within the Service, such as Diamonds, Gold, Energy and Boosts.
  • "Play Records" means records created while playing, such as scores, rankings, levels and achievements.

Article 3. Agreement and Effect

By agreeing to these Terms when signing up, Users become bound by them. For Users under 14, the Legal Guardian must also agree to these Terms.

Article 4. Age and Legal Guardian Consent

  • The Service is available to users of all ages. However, under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, Users under 14 may sign up only with the consent of their Legal Guardian.
  • To verify the Legal Guardian's consent, the Company may request minimal information such as the Legal Guardian's contact details. If consent cannot be verified, the Company may refuse the sign-up or restrict use.
  • Users under 19 need their Legal Guardian's consent to purchase Virtual Goods or to enter tournaments.
  • A Legal Guardian may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of the child's information, or withdrawal of the child's membership.

Article 5. Changes to the Terms

The Company may change these Terms to the extent permitted by law. The effective date and the changes will be announced in the app at least 7 days before the effective date (at least 30 days if the changes are unfavorable to Users).

Chapter 2. Use of the Service

Article 1. Features

The Service provides the following features:

  • Dance challenges that score your moves against the original choreography using the camera and motion-tracking AI
  • Practice mode for any part at your own speed
  • Real-time 1:1 dance battles
  • Tournaments operated by the Company
  • Dance quiz
  • Profile photo card, achievement badges and levels

Article 2. No Social Features

So that children can use the Service without interacting with strangers, the Service does not provide sharing of posts between Users, comments, likes, follows or messaging (chat). There is no free-text writing or conversation during battles either.

Article 3. Camera and Videos

  • The camera is used during games to score your dance. Camera footage and motion data are processed only to provide the Service, such as calculating scores, as described in the STEPIN LITE Privacy Policy.
  • Videos recorded during games are saved in the User's own archive.

Article 4. Display of Play Records

A User's nickname, scores, rankings and tournament results may be shown to other Users on leaderboards and tournament screens. Users should not use their real name, contact details or other personally identifiable information as a nickname.

Article 5. Tournaments

Separate Tournament Terms apply to tournament entries and prevail over these Terms where they differ. Minor Users need their Legal Guardian's consent to enter tournaments.

Article 6. Advertising

The Company may display advertisements in the Service. Users under 14 are not shown personalized advertising based on behavioral data.

Chapter 3. Paid Services

Article 1. Purchase of Virtual Goods

  • Virtual Goods are purchased through the payment methods of app marketplaces such as the Apple App Store, subject to that marketplace's policies.
  • Virtual Goods have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or property or transferred to others.
  • Purchased Virtual Goods are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Article 2. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Users may request cancellation of unused Virtual Goods within 7 days of purchase. Purchases cannot be cancelled once any part has been used.
  • If a minor User makes a purchase without the Legal Guardian's consent, the User or the Legal Guardian may cancel it as provided by law.
  • Refunds are processed through the app marketplace's refund procedure.

Chapter 4. User Obligations

Article 1. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Use another person's information or sign up with false information
  • Manipulate scores or rankings by improper means
  • Use the Service abnormally or interfere with its operation
  • Use profanity, hate speech or sexual expressions in nicknames or elsewhere
  • Violate applicable laws or these Terms

Article 2. Reporting

Users may report inappropriate content or conduct through the in-app report feature or Customer Support (stepin.cs@sidewalkplay.com). The Company will review the report and take necessary action.

Chapter 5. Restrictions and Withdrawal

Article 1. Withdrawal of Membership

A User, or the Legal Guardian of a User under 14, may request withdrawal at any time via Settings > Withdraw Membership in the app or through Customer Support, and the Company will process it without delay as required by law.

Article 2. Restrictions by the Company

If a User violates these Terms, the Company may restrict use of the Service or terminate the agreement after prior notice. In urgent cases, notice may be given afterwards.

Chapter 6. Liability and Disputes

Article 1. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for damages caused by events without the Company's intent or negligence, such as natural disasters or causes attributable to the User. Users must check that their surroundings are safe while playing, and Legal Guardians are asked to guide children to play in a safe space.

Article 2. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes related to the Service shall be resolved by the court of competent jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum
